Road users who want to drive on the A4, A58 and A17 in the coming evenings must take additional travel time into account. Rijkswaterstaat will be working on the road in West Brabant. The work will last from Wednesday, October 22 to Thursday, October 30.

This involves regular maintenance of the road surface, viaducts, bridges and tunnels. This includes replacing asphalt and joint transitions, mowing and pruning, cleaning the road and work on the guardrail. According to Rijkswaterstaat, the aim of the work is to allow traffic to move safely and smoothly.

When and where?

A4 (direction Bergen op Zoom)
When
: Wednesday, October 22, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.
Where exactly: the road is closed between the Markiezaat junction and the Zoomland junction.

A4 (direction Antwerp)
When
: Monday, October 27, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.
Where exactly: road closed between Zoomland junction and Markiezaat junction.

A58 (direction Roosendaal)
When: Tuesday, October 28 from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning
Where exactly: road closed between Zoomland junction and De Stok junction.

A17 (direction Rotterdam)
When: dates and times not yet known. Keep a close eye on the information boards.
Where exactly: between the Zevenbergen entrance (25) and the Klaverpolder junction.

Traffic will be diverted via yellow signs during the work. Rijkswaterstaat advises all road users to leave on time and to take the extra travel time into account.

Depending on the weather
The work is weather sensitive. In bad weather, work may be postponed and rescheduled.

Rijkswaterstaat points out that the safety of road users and road workers comes first. “Our people work day and night to ensure safe roads. Stick to the speed limit and follow the instructions along the road,” Rijkswaterstaat said.
