The resigned NSC ministers from the outgoing Cabinet Schoof will be temporarily replaced by VVD and BBB administrators. The Government Information Service announces this on Saturday. It is a temporary arrangement until a new interpretation for the released posts has been found in the outgoing cabinet.
Caspar Veldkamp (NSC) decided on Friday as Minister of Foreign Affairs after disagreement within the cabinet on measures against Israel. Minister of Defense Ruben Brekelmans (VVD) is taking over his ministry for the time being. The post of the new NSC party leader Eddy van Hijum as Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, is temporarily taken by BBB Vice Prime Minister and residential minister Mona Keizer.
VVD minister of Justice David van Weel gets the Interior. Sophie Hermans (Climate, VVD) becomes temporarily responsible for education, culture and science. Robert Tieman (BBB) receives public health, welfare and sport under his care. He was only since the exit of the PVV ministers from the cabinet outgoing minister of Infrastructure and Water Management.
