The German Museum bought Pamela Anderson’s swimsuit for an absurdly large sum

A German museum bought Pamela Anderson’s Baywatch swimsuit for a whopping price.

German Bildmagazine reported how the bikini museum in Bad Rappenau bought Pamela Anderson’s iconic Baywatch swimsuit.

There was a fierce auction for the swimsuit, at the end of which the German museum was able to buy the outfit for 25,720 euros. The outfit was sold in a US online store and it collected offers from more than 40 enthusiasts and collectors around the world.

The museum located in southern Germany has gathered the history of swimsuits in its collections, and in addition to Anderson’s swimsuit, you can find swimsuits of Hollywood stars in their collections. Among other things, it has been exhibited there Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor’s and by Amy Winehouse bathing suits.

Marilyn Monoroe’s swimsuit on display is from the one published in 1951 Casanova as tenant (Love nest) from the movie.
