Official: Dzeko signs for Fenerbahce – Declined extension at Inter

Eighth professional station in the sixth country

The transfer of former Wolfsburg Edin Dzeko to the Süper Lig is perfect: the 37-year-old striker is moving from Champions League finalist Inter Milan to Fenerbahce for free, as announced on Thursday evening, and signed a contract until 2025. For him it is eighth professional station in the sixth country.

Dzeko had also previously received an offer to extend his expiring contract at Inter, but the Turkish Cup winners offered a longer term. Dzeko joined Inter in 2021 for €2.8m from AS Roma, where he has since contributed 31 goals and 15 assists in 101 games and won the Coppa Italia twice and the Supercoppa.
