The facts took place on Saturday night in Café Toerist in the Weststraat in Blankenberge. Officers wanted to identify some people after a fight. But the three café goers did not accept that and a fight broke out. The Blankenberge police called in the help of two neighboring forces.
The three are charged on suspicion of unruliness, intentional assault and battery on two people present in the café and for intentional assault and battery on officers resulting in incapacity for work. These are two from Blankenberge (born in 1985 and 2000) and a man from Bredene (born in 2001).
