A star from the English Premier League experienced a threatening situation a few weeks ago. The investigation is ongoing.

Shocking moment for a football star from England’s top league: As the British tabloid “The Sun” reports, a player from a Premier League club is said to have been threatened with a gun on the street at the beginning of September. Accordingly, the incident occurred when the professional was out with a friend on a busy street in London at night.

For legal reasons, the report does not reveal exactly which player it is. The footballer is said to be in his 20s and his market value is estimated at 60 million pounds (around 68 million euros).

A suspect was arrested last month, it said. The accusation: He threatened to use a firearm. Spicy: It is said to be an advisor who, among other things, also represents an English national player. The agent is currently out on bail under the condition that he is not allowed to contact the player. The star and his companion were not injured in the incident. However, “The Sun” quotes an unspecified source who emphasizes that the player was “understandably shaken”. He reported the incident immediately and was supported by his friends and his club, the source explained. “But there will be serious questions as to why this happened and the police are now trying to answer this.”
