FC Eindhoven continues in the Kitchen Champion Division: on Friday evening the leader in Helmond won 0-1 against Helmond Sport. In Tilburg Willem II triumphed over Telstar, while FC Den Bosch lost at home to Roda JC (0-3).
Helmond Sport has now lost three league matches of the season. Eindhoven, on the other hand, is still without loss of points. It eventually became 0-1 in Helmond after a goal by substitute Oostenbrink.
Referee Richard Martens briefly stopped the game after fans of the home team set off a lot of fireworks. He resumed play after most of the smoke had blown out of the stadium.
Other matches
There was another Brabant derby in the Kitchen Champion Division: NAC Breda played against TOP Oss. It eventually became 1-0 for the Breda team after a goal by Valanas in the 28th minute.
Willem II also did good business: it was 2-1 at home against Telstar. FC Den Bosch, on the other hand, had a tough Friday evening in their own stadium. The team saw Roda JC score three times in the second half, good for a 0-3 victory for the Limburgers.
