A motorist was arrested in Waalwijk because he drove his car across the bus lane. While other traffic was waiting at the red traffic light, the man was impatient and decided to take that road. The man has been fined. “It costs him more time and 160 euros,” the police wrote on Instagram. “He stated that he was doing this for ‘better traffic flow’.”
Shortly afterwards it turned out that the man was also driving under the influence of cannabis. He was taken to the police station for an extensive blood test and will hear his sentence later.
