Marc-Marie Huijbregts is always structurally fooled at today. “Piepiks,” they call him there. But how long does the fun last? “I am now with pre -pension,” he says.
We see Marc-Marie Huijbregts little on TV now that the talk show of Beau van Erven Dorens has been put in the bulky waste. The comedian feels nothing to join for successor RTL Tonight, because he mainly wants to be loyal to Beau and has less chemistry with colleagues Humberto Tan and Renze Klamer. And that means less on TV.
Work agenda
What about the Marc-Marie work agenda? It is quite empty. “I’m still celebrating a little vacation, but I don’t like busy agendas anyway. I try to avoid that, so I generally always have a calm agenda.”
He continues in the Weekend: “Then I do some television again, then my podcast, but I always take care of days off in between. Also with, for example, birthdays of friends and family – those days are always freely planned for me.”
TV career
In the end, private life is much more important than a TV career, says Marc-Marie. “Because life is about that, I think. I don’t think it’s about thinking: Gosh, how I worked hard all my life, instead of: what nice friends and family do I have.”
He continues: “That realization actually came to me quite quickly, that is not from the last years. I have never worked very much about myself. I have always been peace and enjoy it.”
Pre -pension
Will there be something on television? “I can now be seen in Holland’s Got Talent. And in Belgium I occasionally sit as a sidekick at Gert’s table, Van Gert Verhulst.”
“I am going to do the smartest person again, again in Belgium. And that was it, not that much. I am not going into the theater either. I am a bit with pre -pension.”
