Marieke Elsinga always shouts from the roofs that she is so terribly heavy. Combine the morning of Qmusic with a late RTL Boulevard? She thinks it is deadly. “But is it live?”
Marieke Elsinga is a bit the young version of Martine van Os. Where the Max-Oma continues continuously about the workload of we are almost there, the lamentarieke of RTL continuously grumbles about her morning show at Qmusic. She even called it a ‘k*t-morning show’. She always wants to sleep at 9.30 pm, but that doesn’t always work.
Angry Marieke
That time is for Marieke Holy: she really wants her eyes closed. When her baby starts crying or someone drops a little down the stairs, she immediately walks through the house again. But if that woman is already against a burnout when her sleeping moment sometimes shifts for half an hour, how does she do the late boulevard?
RTL Boulevard Summernight, as the late edition is called, is only ready at 11 p.m., and before she is home and has showered – Marieke does not shower in the morning – it is just 00.30. And if she can only sleep for four o’clock, then it is still a horror for Mattie Valk to sit opposite in the morning?
‘It’s not live’
Media journalist Jef Willemsen thinks Marieke is being spared. He suspects RTL that the late boulevard is not secretly broadcast live at all. “I can’t get rid of the impression that that late edition is not live,” he writes up X.
The late boulevard does not feel urgent at all, he continues. “There is no breaking news, after the B&B decay the rest is filled with relatively timeless plank items. Anyway you can’t see from the studio if it’s really live, the view has been an illusion for years.”
High workload
If the late boulevard is indeed secretly admitted in advance, it fits in with the rumors about inhuman work pressure on the editorial floor. Two broadcasts a day would require too much from the employees and by recording the late edition immediately after the early edition, people can leave a little earlier. And Marieke went to bed early.
In the meantime, the visitors to Nujij are very surprised about rumors. “I can’t imagine that you can get a burnout at RTL Boulevard. It is not about anything, only gossip with a smile, relaxing meaningless topics, and that is the program. It is not about anything,” says one Joost.
“No, you can’t get sick of that, impossible.”
