DFB fans have to pay XXL prices for World Cup tickets
12/11/2025 – 5:39 p.mReading time: 2 minutes

The DFB team’s group opponents at the World Cup have been determined. If you want to see the games in the stadium, you have to dig deep into your pockets.
German football fans have to be prepared for high ticket prices for the DFB games at the World Cup. The cheapest tickets in the national team’s fan block for the three group games in summer 2026 are available from 155 euros (first game), from 190 euros (second game) and from 230 euros (third game). That’s what the German Football Association said almost a week after the draw in Washington.
Accordingly, ticket applications can only be made via the ticket portal of the world association Fifa. However, the supporters from the national team fan club and other fan clubs will receive so-called access codes from the DFB in order to apply for the special tickets in the phase that has been running since Thursday and until January 13th. Fifa is responsible for pricing.
Like all other teams, Germany has eight percent of the tickets available per game for the fan block. National coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team will play their preliminary round games in Group E in Houston, Toronto and in the final arena in East Rutherford near New York.
For the DFB team’s opening game against Curaçao on June 14th at 12:00 local time (7:00 p.m./CEST) in Houston, the price range for fan tickets ranges from 155 to 430 euros. The second game on June 20th (10 p.m./CEST) against Ivory Coast will take place in Toronto, Canada. In this game, prizes in the three categories range from 190 to 515 euros.
For the last group game on June 25th (10 p.m./CEST) against Ecuador in the final stadium in East Rutherford, between 230 and 600 euros are due. Germany’s ticket quotas for the preliminary round are 4,307 (against Curaçao), 2,452 (against Ivory Coast) and 4,826 in the duel with Ecuador. A possible round of 16 would be slightly cheaper than the last group game, before prices rise significantly again from the round of 16 onwards.
Anyone who would like to buy tickets for the knockout games in the German fan block must select these games in the current application phase. After the preliminary round there will be no further opportunity – at least through the DFB contingent – as the association announced. If necessary, tickets that have already been purchased should be able to be sold again on a special Fifa portal from April 2nd.
