National basketball player Satou Sabally has set a personal season best in the WNBA with 26 points. For the 25-year-old Berliner it was the fourth game in the world’s best women’s basketball league with at least 20 points in a row – but she couldn’t prevent the 74:80 defeat of her Dallas Wings against the Connecticut Sun.
Sabally also posted 14th rebounds making it the fourth time in six games this season double double two-digit values in two of the most important statistical categories. With an average of 22.2 points per game, Sabally is still ahead Brittney Griner (22.0) ranked third in the WNBA. The Wings have three wins and three losses so far.
