Sporting Lisbon’s central defender Jeremiah St. Juste may be faced with a return to Germany. As the Portuguese daily newspaper “Record” reports, Union Berlin has entered the race for the 28-year-old Dutch. In addition to the Köpenickers, the CA Osasuna has long been a serious prospect. Now, however, the Bundesliga club could advance to the Spanish club.

According to reports, the transfer from St. Juste to Pamplona was just before failure before both parties are said to have moved together again. The competition from Union has now created a new situation.
St. Juste switched to Sporting for 10 million euros after three years and 69 missions at the 1st FSV Mainz 05. At the 21-fold Portuguese champion, the veteran is only under contract for a year. Defender Diomandé is also traded at Union Berlin
In the TM rumor mill, the Ivorer Sinaly Diomandé (24) by AJ Auxerre is trading another central defender at Union. According to “Foot Mercato” there are already discussions between the player side and the Iron. In Berlin, Diogo Leite (26) and Danilho Doekhi (27) are still considered candidates for a departure. As it was last said, the Köpenickers prepare an offer for Diomandé, which is still bound to the Auxerre Ligue-1 Club by 2027. This amounts to 4.5 million euros.

The Union’s transfer balance sheet is almost compensated for: So far, the German Association has put 18.1 million euros on the table for eight newcomers or fixed commitments this summer.
