Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium needs rodent control. Yes, because the lone pitch invader during the World Cup qualifying match between Wales and Belgium wasn’t the usual exhibitionist, or some random protester. But a mouse. A rat. A mouse. Maybe not big enough to deserve to be called pantegana (any reference to Jurgen Klinsmann is purely coincidental). The intruder, not at all scared, was kindly escorted to the sideline by Brennan Johnson. It is not known whether he then settled down in the stands to watch the end of the match. Perhaps, given that the Welsh were 2-1 down and then conceded the third goal from a penalty, a brace from De Bruyne, he would have preferred to continue hunting for a piece of cheese.
