Three of the four co -suspects are not prosecuted in the investigation into the artok in the Drents Museum in Assen. The prosecutors believe that their role is too small.

Although the trio has helped the main suspects, it cannot be proven in the eyes of the Public Prosecution Service that they knew that the robbery would happen.

At the moment three men from Heerhugowaard are in pre -trial detention. These three main suspects – Douglas Chesley W., Bernhard Z. and Jan B. from Heerhugowaard – are suspected of, among other things, the theft of the Golden Helmet and three bracelets in the night of 24 to 25 January. The stolen objects were part of the exhibition Dacia – Rich of gold and silver.

A major explosion preceded the burglary in the Drents Museum. According to the public prosecutor, an extremely heavy fireworks bomb has been used for this. It would be a so-called flashbanger Ti-Rex.

A 26-year-old man is the only co-suspect who is being prosecuted. He is suspected of stealing license plates, whereby the OM cannot determine whether he was aware of the robbery. He is called up for a private hearing session.
