Kymenlaakso District Court has been condemned by the Veikkausliiga player Kwame I get23, from rape. Otu raped a sleeping woman in a private apartment in Kotka last February.
The punishment for the act is one year and ten months of conditional imprisonment.
The woman was intoxicated at the time of the events. She had told Otu that she could come to her apartment – she didn’t want sex.
When she got to the apartment, she went to bed. He woke up to rape.
The Kymenlaakso District Court issued its sentence on April 2. It thought it was a word against a word. However, the woman’s story had remained detailed, careful and unchanged.
The woman’s story was also supported by the fact that she immediately applied for SERI examinations. The story of Otu remained overwhelming.
The District Court condemned Otu for rape. The punishment was alleviated by the fact that the rape did not include threatening or pressure on violence. However, the court notes that the sexual offenses were directed at the sleeping and thus defenseless victims.
The punishment was severely hazardous by the fact that intercourse was unprotected.

The District Court considered a fair penalty of one year and ten months in prison.
The punishment was prescribed conditional. Among other things, the fact that Otu has no criminal background is influenced, he is “attached” to Finnish society and works.
In addition to conditional imprisonment, OTU was sentenced to 60 hours of community service. He must pay the victim a total of more than EUR 6,000 in compensation and reimburse his costs of nearly EUR 3,000.
The judgment is not final.
OTU played a Kotka club in KTP. The extension agreement signed last August was to be in force until the end of 2026. On February 11, KTP announced that OTU was excluded from the team’s activities due to suspicion.
