The public broadcasters have agreed. This is how the 31 EM games are distributed in Switzerland.
The women’s European Championships in Switzerland will be completely shown on public television-ARD and ZDF divide the transmission of the 31 games. The broadcasters had already secured the rights in December and now also agreed the exact distribution. All final round games are shown live, sometimes even in the stream.
The ARD starts on July 2 with the opening game in the tournament and also shows two preliminary round games of the German national team: the duel with European newcomer Poland on July 4 (9:00 p.m.) and the game against Denmark on July 8 (6 p.m.).
The ZDF takes over the third group game of the DFB selection against Sweden on July 12 (9:00 p.m.) and also broadcasts the European Championship final on July 27th in Basel (6 p.m.).
If Germany reached the quarter -finals, the ZDF would be on the train. In the event of a semi -finals, the ARD would be transferred. How the other games of the K.-O. round are distributed is decided after the previous phase. Some games run exclusively in the live stream.
