The Munich team apparently wants to sign a top performer from a Bundesliga competitor – now everything could happen very quickly.

Will FC Bayern strengthen itself with a German national player? As Sky Sport reported on Thursday, the record champions are said to have reached an agreement with Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The left-back had “positive discussions” with Bayern coach Vincent Kompany and wanted to move to Munich. Sky writes of a contract until 2031. However, an agreement with Brown’s current club is still pending, Frankfurt is demanding a transfer fee of up to 60 million euros for the 22-year-old.

Brown was one of the SGE’s top performers last season, appearing in 42 competitive games, scoring four goals and preparing six more goals. Brown’s contract in Frankfurt runs until 2030, his current market value: 40 million euros.

Bayern are looking for a full-back

The Hessians signed the Upper Palatinate native from 1. FC Nürnberg for three million euros in January 2024, but he was still playing out the current season with the Franconians at the time.

Brown played his first game in the Bundesliga on October 27, 2024. Almost a year later, he made his national team debut in the World Cup qualifying game against Luxembourg (4-0). National coach Julian Nagelsmann named him to his squad for the World Cup on May 21st. In the test against Finland last Sunday (4-0) he impressed on the left side of defense, but he can also be used on the right.

Bayern are looking for an additional full-back for the coming season. There is also interest in US international Sergino Dest from PSV Eindhoven, whose fixed transfer fee is said to be 25 million euros.
