The winner of the discus throw at the Paris Olympics Roje Stona25, plans to try his hand at American football.
The Jamaican joins the NFL’s International Player Pathway program, which aims to help athletes from other sports to have a career in American football.
The sport is not new to Stona, as he got in touch with it during his studies in the United States. Last spring, he trained at the camps of the NFL clubs New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers.
According to talent scouts, the two-meter tall and over 120-kilogram guy could fit perfectly either as an inside winger or on the inside line of the defense.
