Telstar defender Anwar Bensabouh out for several weeks with knee injury

Telstar has to do without Anwar Bensabouh for a few weeks. Further investigation has shown that the 23-year-old defender will be sidelined by the Velsenaren for four to six weeks.

Bensabouh was injured in the match against Almere City FC. The Amsterdammer, who played for Almere City in the past, had to leave the field just before the final whistle with a knee injury.

Telstar was able to add three points in Almere with the victory. David Min was the match winner in Flevoland and after the win, the White Lions occupy fourteenth place in the first division.

Heracles Almelo will visit Velsen-Zuid next Friday. Kick-off at Sportpark Schoonenberg is at 8 p.m. and the match can be followed live during the NH Sport radio broadcast.
