The previous Pope, Francis, met a delegation in Brussels last year in September during his visit to our country and invited them to the Vatican. This also included several West Flemish victims. The visit was supposed to take place around Easter, but the death of the Pope put a stop to that.
The current Pope, Leo XIV, wants to fulfill his predecessor’s promise and will therefore receive a delegation on November 8. Details about the delegation will be announced later.
