Socialist trade union ACOD activates new strike notice for police from February 15 | Inland

“During the sectoral negotiations to this day, we regret the absence of Minister of the Interior Annelies Verlinden,” the statement reads. The ACOD reiterated that the minister’s proposal was labeled “inadequate” by “the vast majority of staff”.

In particular, the ACOD demands “a real end-of-career scheme, guaranteed by structural federal funding for all members of the integrated police”, but also a “guaranteed and phased salary increase for all staff”.

The socialist union added that the precise actions are planned in the coming days.
At the end of January, police unions VSOA and NSPV reached an interim agreement with the minister. The ACOD opposed and announced a national strike notice. ACV Police also did not approve the agreement.
