Slippery road surface in Roasting due to frying fat | 1Limburg

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, frying grease led to a slippery road surface on the N296 near Roosteren.

One of the road inspectors of Rijkswaterstaat reports this on Instagram.

Deep-frying fat-free
The frying fat was located on the Maaseikerweg (N296). One direction of the road was closed due to the risk of accidents. While Rijkswaterstaat was arranging traffic, the emergency contractor came on site to clean the road surface. As a result, the road was quickly ‘free of frying fat’, the road inspector writes.

It is not clear how the liquid fat got there.
