The twenty-something has been in jail since August last year on suspicion of robbery and murder. He is said to have killed a young man of 24 in his studio in Kasteelstraat in Tielt. It is still unclear what exactly happened. The public prosecutor’s office previously blocked his release under electronic supervision. According to a court psychiatrist, the young man from Tielt is incompetent. The Indictment Chamber must now make a decision within two weeks. Two other suspects in the case remain in custody.
