Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon are all part of the cast of “Oppenheimer” and their acting performance has made the film one of the most successful films of 2023. One person who wasn’t there, however, is Snoop Dogg. Or is it? TV show host Jimmy Kimmel dug up a picture of the almost complete “Oppenheimer” crew and discovered something strange there. The rapper is also in the picture, surrounded by the film stars and director Christopher Nolan.
“We can’t take a picture if Snoop Dogg isn’t there.”
When Snoop Dogg was a guest on the “Jimmy Kimmel” show, the talk show host simply asked him personally how the snapshot came about. “The whole cast there, except Matt Damon. And then there is another notable addition, and that is you. How did this happen? “Were you in ‘Oppenheimer’ and I didn’t notice?” Kimmel asked.
Snoop Dogg didn’t take long to clarify the mystery: “No, no, no, I wasn’t in the movie. I happened to be at this party and um, I’m a fan of most of the cast there, the director, the actors, and they asked me to be in the picture, they said ‘We can’t take a picture if Snoop Dogg isn’t there is’ and I thought to myself ‘All right, there it is’,” he demystified the question about the crew photo.
Regarding “Oppenheimer,” the musician continued: “I loved him! It was a long film, but I loved it!” The 50-year-old even got a screener of the film home. When asked if he was the type of guy who would watch it all in one sitting, Snoop Dogg said, “I can’t watch it in parts. I have to watch everything. I want to respect the director, the actors, the story.”
