Do you ever miss the Amphion and Locomotion discos where we could dance, flirt and laugh until the early hours? Then we have good news, because from April you can go to the disco once a month at a fixed location in Zoetermeer.

From this spring, former Locomotion DJs Seran van Wijk and Dennis Harinck will hold monthly disco evenings for adults in a party room of restaurant Het Wapen in Zoetermeer.
People went crazy
Seran and Dennis have been organizing the parties for years Let’s Go Loco and the Zoetermeer Reunion. “After corona time Let’s Go Loco in the Het Wapen van Zoetermeer event location,” says Seran. “People went crazy that night! They were very positive about the atmosphere of the location. In addition, a lot of people from Zoetermeer lack a regular entertainment venue for an older audience. We wanted to do something with that.”
Party every month
Seran and Dennis talked to the owner of Het Wapen van Zoetermeer, Reno Hilgersom. “We discussed the idea of organizing a disco month every month in the downstairs room of the party farm,” says Seran. We also want to organize club evenings with a theme every quarter.”
A number of rooms at Het Wapen van Zoetermeer were renovated in early 2023. “The Marjoram hall had a red, Moulin Rouge-appearance. This has been converted into an attractive club with a dance floor, a bar and luxurious sofas. From the beginning of April, Zoetermeer residents aged 30 and over can go out every month in their own city.”

Before the opening of the new disco there will be one on Saturday, March 9 Let’s Go Loco disco evening where you can dance all evening and night in three rooms of Het Wapen van Zoetermeer to songs from the eighties and nineties, club music, R&B, old school and more. Read more information here.
