Cameras with license plate recognition already check cars and trucks today. Until now, it has proven to be technically difficult to correctly register smaller license plates, such as those of mopeds and speed pedelecs.
This is now changing with new technology. From now on, the smart cameras will also be able to better recognize and monitor these vehicles.
The measure should contribute to greater safety and less nuisance in the shopping area, where pedestrians and shoppers have priority.
