Federica Brignone’s rehabilitation is proceeding as expected, 237 days after the serious accident that occurred during the Italian Championships on 3 April, when she suffered a fracture of the tibial plateau and the fibula head of her left leg. The reigning women’s World Cup champion concluded the initial phase of the recovery process at the JMedical in Turin, recently receiving the green light from the FISI Medical Commission to intensify the program. The new step also includes a return to work on the track, with the aim of trying to qualify for the Milan-Cortina Olympics.
