Roeselare opened its Champions League campaign last month with a 3-2 defeat at Turkish side Galatasaray in Istanbul. Roeselare has two points after two matches in group B, making it fourth and last for the time being. Lublin (5 points) leads, ahead of Galatasaray (3 points), which lost 3-2 to Ankara (2 points) on Wednesday.
The next meeting for Roeselare at the champions ball is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, again in Turkey near Ankara. The five group winners qualify for the quarter-finals. The runners-up and the best third will play play-offs for the last three places in those quarter-finals. The other teams that finish third in their group will continue in the CEV Cup.
