Neil Hardwick tells Helsinki Sanomat In the interview, he now lives in Eira, a service house. He has severe neuropathy pain, and his own children wanted to make sure he would not fall dangerously at home.

Hardwick has written his memoirs in the house Deleted scenes (Finnish translation Tero Valkonen). In the book and interview early in the week, Hardwick remembers his marriage. According to Hardwick, his wife was constantly failed and did not stop even though Hardwick asked for it.
According to Hardwick, only a couple, three friends knew the real state of the marriage.
The couple divorced a few times, but always returned together before the final divorce. They got two children.
The wife’s attitude towards hardwick was jealous.
“This might not be said, but I thought I’ve been a much better feminist than my wife,” Hardwick tells HS.
Hardwick did not find a new long -term partner after the divorce. The wife has since died.

Hardwick, who moved to Finland from Britain in 1969, has made a long career in the entertainment world. He guided several TV classics like Tank full, Reinikainen and Sister and its brother. He also had his own talk show. Hardwick received Finnish citizenship in 1981.
Hardwick, awarded Pro Finlandia, also worked as a director’s side of the theater. For example, he directed plays to the Helsinki City Theater and the Tampere Workers’ Theater.
