Convicts in correctional colony No. 10 in the Ulyanovsk region went on a hunger strike against compliance with the regime. This was reported to RBC in the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Ulyanovsk region.

According to the agency, on February 5, 38 convicts refused to eat in writing. Their refusal, according to the Federal Penitentiary Service, they motivated “dissatisfaction with the detention regime.” The department added that the convicts are serving sentences for committing various grave and especially grave crimes.
