Brand raged in the Dwingelderveld National Park. The fire was discovered around 9 p.m., after which several fire brigades pushed Linea Recta and extinguished the fire early.
In total there was about one hundred square meters on fire. That happened near the Oude Postweg at Spier. The rapid action of the fire brigade has ensured that the fire has not spread any further.
The fire brigade has been busy with the fire for some time. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. There is no clarity about that yet.
