A motorist was injured this morning in an accident in Emmen. On the Statenweg the car got off the road and came to a halt against a tree.
Multiple ambulances, a fire brigade team and a trauma helicopter have been called to provide medical assistance. The victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. As far as we know, there was no one else in the car apart from the driver.
The road is partially closed. How the accident could happen is not clear.
