After three clear bankruptcies in a row, the Italian football champions AC Milan received the next blow in the city duel.
Milan lost 1-0 (0-1) at Inter in the Derby della Madonnina and missed the chance to overtake their rivals in the table. Inter (43 points) remain second in Serie A behind SSC Napoli (56) while Milan (38) slipped to sixth.
Milan had recently clearly lost the Supercoppa in Riyadh against Inter (0:3), then they suffered defeats in the league against Lazio Rome (0:4) and basement child Sassuolo Calcio (2:5).
The derby was decided by Argentinian world champion Lautaro Martinez (34th). National player Robin Gosens came on in the 71st minute.
