“I didn’t decide that one day, did I? I did it because I am a victim of internet fraud.” So says TVH, a 45-year-old mother from Boekhoute who managed the finances of the local parent committee. Last month it suddenly turned out that all the money intended for the children – about 20,000 euros – had disappeared in VH’s pocket. The parents’ committee filed a complaint with the police.
