“Of course, we are upset, but we actually have a chance to make up for the mistake in the Paraguay match. We must prepare for the match in a more focused manner. We must all know our duties and responsibilities and play accordingly.

As I said, we were sorry. We wanted to make our country happy. It was actually our dream to come here. We came here after 24 years and we wanted to make our country proud in the first match. I think this also had emotional pressure.
When we saw the televisions set up in the squares, we wanted to respond to this. We provided extra motivation. We wanted to win so much. Maybe it wasn’t reflected on the field. The morale of the team is good, we forgot the first match. “We want to win the next two matches and make our country happy.”
