In the summer, NPO 1 will, just like last year, broadcast the program Goedenavond Nederland every day in the late evening. Last year Sam Hagens and Welmoed Sijtsma did it together, this year they would alternate. But now that it has become known that she will switch to RTL 4 after the summer, everything would be in doubt.

Her employer WNL is already vague about it in a press release. “In the coming period we will look at what work Welmoed still carries out for WNL, and how her place will be filled later.”

WNL probably wants to give talent a chance that will stay in house, such as Frank van Leeuwen. “That will certainly have something to do with the fact that Frank van Leeuwen is the coming man in talk land if she is kicked out of her seat. Johan thinks that Welmoed mainly relies on her appearance. “I think Mrs. Sijtsma is very beautiful, but that’s where it ends. I have not yet discovered whether she has qualities, because she is a world champion in teleprompter reading. It is always superficial, she does not ask questions, she cannot interview. She cannot do a lot.”
