The Council of State agrees with the plans of the province of Drenthe and Rijkswaterstaat for the construction of the extensive solar panel park along the A37. The park becomes slightly shorter than the 42 kilometers that was initially intended. A part has been deleted to meet a dairy farmer in Zwinderen.
The farmer fears the reflection of the sun’s skitteting of the panels near his lands. In addition, he is afraid of an increase in weeds, especially the jacco -herb for cattle and horses. The dairy farmer started a procedure at the Council of State to get the plans for the so -called Drentse Zonner Route A37 adjusted.
Two months ago during the court case in The Hague, the Province and Rijkswaterstaat, the owner of the land along the A37, said to be abandoned by the construction of part of the solar panels. It concerns two strips of 250 meters long that were planned along the man’s lands on the Burgemeester Legroweg. Although the man from Zwinderen was happy with the restriction of the solar park, he fished in the final statement at the most important point behind the net.
The dairy farmer has the most difficulty with the solar panels that are planned at a 5 -meter high and 500 meters long bridge valley behind his farm. “It is about fourteen rows of solar panels, five meters high. Soon I will live in a light box with all that reflection of the sunlight. That is not good for my cows,” the farmer said earlier at the seat. But the panels can still come from the Council of State.
It is possible that during the implementation of the project in consultation with the farmer, solutions will be found for the dreaded light schitterings. A total of half a kilometer from the original plan for the solar park has been canceled.
