The emotions boiled up – and how! The final phase of the top Bundesliga game between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening was not for the faint of heart, even on the pitch. Because in the last few minutes it got heated between the SGE and BVB.
In the center: Dortmund’s goal machine Erling Haaland – the elemental striker was loud. Very loud. Furious. And could clearly be heard over the TV microphones: “You fucking idiot!” the 21-year-old kept shouting. Target of his insults: Frankfurt’s defender Martin Hinteregger. Haaland even had to be reassured by his teammates – not the easiest task with the 1.94 meter giant.
What happened?
The 87th minute of the game: Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham heads the 2-2 for the guests. Haaland storms straight into the Frankfurter Tor to get the ball. Don’t lose any time catching up.
