There are confusing details around the Eurovision event in Helsinki.
The arrangements of the event have raised doubts among participants and gig sellers. The Best Finland’s Best: The Eurovision Song Contest has been marketed to be held in Töölö, Restaurant on Saturday, May 17, the same day as the Eurovision finale in Basel, Switzerland.

Iltalehti has learned that an event that is still selling tickets is unlikely to arrange.
Restaurant Töölö’s ballroom promised to perform at the Eurovision theme concert, including this year’s UMK competitor Goldielocks, last year’s Finnish visa representative Windows95man Annika EklundAksel Kankaanranta and Sara Siipola.
After the concert, there would have been a race stand for the Basel visa final.
On Friday, Töölö’s sales service was confirmed to Iltalehti that the restaurant’s ballroom would be free that evening. Therefore, there is no space reservation for the event in question.

Iltalehti reached out to a number of artists’ gigs, who in turn confirmed that the artist they represented will not perform at the best in Finland on Saturday: the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki.
For example, Annika Eklund was announced about cancellation on her Instagram account.
– Performance canceled 17.5.2025 Restaurant Töölö. For the reasons beyond our independent reasons, Eklund informed his followers.

The gig sellers confirmed that they have not reached the organizer of the event in recent days. They described the case as confusing.

The unclear arrangements of the event have begun to survive the gig salesmen reached by Iltalehti in recent days or in the last week.
Iltalehti also tried to reach the organizer of the event along several fairways without success.
Still the event will appear, for example Sara Siipola’s gig calendar. However, Siipola’s gig sales confirmed to Iltalehti by message that Siipola would not perform at the event.
