Rumors about the famous girlfriend of a tennis star

Grigor Dimitrov often made headlines with famous partners. Now he seems to have another well -known girlfriend.
Tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov is currently in the headlines more often. The current number 16 of the tennis world rankings became the victim of a power failure at the Masters tournament in Madrid on Monday and had to stop his match against the British Jacob Fearnley at 6: 4 and 5: 4 (read more here).
The Bulgarian in Spain’s capital attracted almost more attention on Saturday. The eyes of the spectators not only aimed at the square where Dimitrov defeated Nicolás Jarry, but also on the stands.
There seemed to be rumors for weeks that Dimitrov has a famous new girlfriend. The actress Eiza González had taken a seat in Dimitrov’s box. Although that alone does not indicate a relationship, but it became decisive after Dimitrov’s victory.
With a kiss on the cheek, González congratulated the Bulgarian to his victory – an extremely private sign of the proximity that was captured by the cameras. Active colleague Eva Longoria, who was also among the audience alongside González, was content with a simple handshake for Dimitrov. Later on social media, videos were circulated that show how González to Dimitrov in English says “great, baby”.
Despite the striking scene, the two have not yet officially confirmed their relationship. This is also due to the fact that both have already had experience with relationships in public. Between 2012 and 2015, Dimitrov was in a relationship with the Russian tennis superstar Maria Sharapova and later also led a relationship with the singer Nicole Scherzinger. González was also kissed in 2015 with acting colleague Liam Hemsworth.
González has already become famous with a nickelodeon series as a teenager and has also celebrated great success in Hollywood with films such as “Baby Driver” and “Bloodshot”. In 2015, she made headlines when she spoke openly about depression and eating disorders that she suffered after her father’s tragic accidental death at the age of just twelve.
Dimitrov has been a professional on the ATP tour since 2008 and was long compared to the tennis legend Roger Federer due to his elegant play style with a one-handed backhand under the nickname “Baby Fed”. However, Dimitrov could not reach the success of the Swiss. To date, the 33-year-old is waiting for his first Grand Slam success, but at least managed to three.
It remains to be seen whether the previous signs become an official relationship between Dimitrov and Gonzalez. The fact is: The time together at the match has given the speculation new food.
