Gina Schumacher celebrates comeback in equestrian sports

Gina Schumacher rides tournaments again – less than three months after the birth of her daughter. At the NRHA derby in the USA, she starts with four horses.
Just eleven weeks after the birth of daughter Millie, Gina Schumacher is back in the saddle. The rider celebrated her comeback at the prestigious NRHA USA-not even three months after the 28-year-old gave birth to her first child.
The series of events is one of the most important in western riding and attracts the international Reining Elite to the US state of Oklahoma every year. According to the “Bild” newspaper, Gina started the competition with four horses-including four-year-old Guns N Whizards.
On the website of the family -owned ranch in Texas, the first appearance after the baby break was announced. There it says: “The first trip back to the show arena for Gina Schumacher Bethke after the birth of her beautiful daughter-and it is as if she had never been gone.”
After the birth of her daughter Millie on March 29, Schumacher had initially withdrawn to Switzerland. Shortly afterwards, she returned to her adopted home of Texas with her family, where the western riding is particularly important – not only sporty, but also economically. Together with husband Iain Bethke, she runs the breed and the sale of Quarter Horses.
Already during her last tournament participation in November 2024 at the NRHA Futurity War Gina in fifth month pregnant – daughter Millie was already on the tournament place at the time.
