The Firefighters of Catalonia are working from this Friday afternoon in the extinguishing a forest fire in the Turó de Gafatans, in Can Pere de la Plana (Sant Pere de Ribes), in the Garraf region. Thus, as reported in a statement, there has been no incident with the buildings that surround it and it has not affected anyone.
But the weather conditions are being a impediment for the 18 water vehicles who are working on extinguishing the fire, since the wind is hindering the process. And the concern is that the flames reach the Protected Natural Area of Parc del Garraf.
