Nature slowly licks its wounds in the Loonse and Drunense Duinen. The fire brigade left the area and healthcare has been transferred to Natuurmonumenten. Time for a small retrospective, on how the fire developed.

The fire started on Saturday, probably lit. Through the drought the fire quickly grabbed it.

The fire brigade continues all night with extinguishing. The fire is off on Sunday morning, but the ground still smells. The area must be kept wet so that the fire does not flar up again.

The fire brigade has issued the signal fire. They go back to the barracks and transfer it to Natuurmonumenten.
