Färjestad won the Swedish Hockey Championship, SHL.

Finland became the celebrated hero of the seventh match of the final series that decided the championship Jesse Virtanen.

The defender hit Luleå’s net in the third inning of the match, which ensured the victory and championship of the match. Virtanen scored another point for the team’s second hit. Luleå finally fell 3-0 and won 4–3.

As Virtanen and Färjestad celebrated, Luleå was left licking his keys. The Finns got silver around their necks Sami Lepistö, Julius Honka, Juhani Tyrväinen, Joonas Rask and Olli Nikupeteri.

Virtanen’s scores this season in the SHL playoffs were 2 + 3 and in the regular season 8 + 19.
