Missing injured since December
Valon Behrami (36) and Genoa CFC will go their separate ways in the future. As the Italians announced on Friday, the contract with the midfielder was terminated with immediate effect. The former Swiss international has been with the club since 2020, for which he played 78 games – more than for any other club.
In the past two seasons, the former HSV professional had not gotten beyond the joker role. Behrami was last used in early December before he was injured. It is unclear where the right footer will continue his career.
