Sobiech had been trained in the youth of Borussia Dortmund. He became German champion with BVB in 2011, but did not play there himself. This was followed by positions at the Hamburg clubs St. Pauli and HSV, at Greuther Fürth, 1. FC Köln and Darmstadt 98. Sobiech made a total of 35 appearances (three goals) in the German upper house, in the 2nd Bundesliga there are 163 appearances ( 16 goals) to book. The defender went abroad for the first time in 2020 to Royal Excel Mouscron in Belgium. After FC Zurich in Switzerland, South Africa was the third foreign station, but Sobiech only made seven appearances last year.
