In Peest, a driver and his horse were injured when he fell into a ditch for an unknown reason. It is not known exactly what happened. An air ambulance arrived and landed on Langelaan, and two ambulances also arrived at the scene of the accident.
The rider was eventually taken to hospital by ambulance. The horse was taken back to the stable.
