Download Germany 2023 has been cancelled. The festival planned for June 23rd and 24th at the Hockenheimring will not take place this year. The organizer announced the cancellation of the festival today (May 30).
All tickets already purchased in advance will be automatically refunded by Ticketmaster in the next few days. The fans will be informed about this by e-mail, writes the organizer.
Until the very end, they tried to realize the festival for the fans of Download Germany. The organizer writes: “The massive number of open-air events this summer makes organization and implementation considerably more difficult, despite the first-class line-up. Unfortunately, the associated production-related obstacles proved to be insurmountable.”
This means that concerts by Slipknot, Volbeat, The Prodigy and Within Temptation, among others, will be cancelled.
