Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA for short) played their second concert of the year at the American festival Boston Calling this weekend (May 28). Negative Space is taken from QOTSA’s forthcoming album IN TIMES NEW ROMAN…, due out June 16th. After feeling lost for a while, the band returned to the studio with renewed motivation to get back to their loud and raw rock, according to the release for the new record. The work will also feature Josh Homme’s most scathing lyrics to date. The lead single “Emotion Sickness” was released in April.
